Narcisa Rincon - co-president

Narcisa is excited to begin her fourth year serving on the Deretchin PTO Board as Co-President! She previously served for two years as VP of Fundraising, helping support many of the PTO's programs and events. In addition to her board responsibilities, she has enjoyed volunteering at the Book Fair, Winter Wonderland, Rodeo, and serving as a Room Parent.
Narcisa has been married to her husband, Cesar, for 13 years, and together they have a daughter, Lana (5th). In her free time, Narcisa enjoys baking, drawing and traveling with her family.
She is looking forward to another wonderful school year and is excited to continue supporting the amazing teachers, staff and families of the Deretchin community!
Maria arambarri - co-president

This is Maria’s first year serving on the PTO board, and she is thrilled to step into the role of Co-President! While she is new to the executive board, she is a familiar face around campus. She served as the library chair last year—a role she is excited to continue this year—and has jumped in to help with the library, the book fair, and anything else she could since her oldest son started kindergarten at Deretchin. She has also loved being a room mom for the past two years and supporting our wonderful teachers as a school substitute.
Maria is originally from Spain and has been married to her husband, Carlos. They have three boys who are all in the Dual Language program: Nacho (5th grade), Jaime (2nd), and Diego (Kindergarten).
When she isn't volunteering or subbing, Maria loves baking, traveling, hanging out with friends and family, and playing padel. She is so excited to serve the Deretchin community this year
MICHELE NICOL - Parliamentarian
Michele is excited to begin her fourth year serving on the Deretchin PTO Board. Over the years, she has had the privilege of serving as VP of Membership and PTO President.
This year, Michele is thrilled to take on the role of Parliamentarian and looks forward to supporting the PTO in a variety of roles alongside our incredible parent volunteers. In addition to her board position, she serves as Spirit Wear Co-Chair with her husband, Mike, Silent Auction Co-Chair, Business Sponsorship Co-Chair, and on the 5th Grade Events Committee.
Michele and her husband, Michael, have been married for 14 years and are proud parents to two Deretchin Dragons: Jackson, a 5th grader, and Ethan, a 3rd grader. Outside of volunteering, Michele is a full-time Realtor serving The Woodlands and surrounding communities. She loves giving back to the school and community that her family is proud to call home
megan tinnell - VP Fundraising

This is Megan’s second year serving on the PTO board. She previously served as Spirit Wear Chair and has loved volunteering at many school events over the past few years.
Megan is wife to Braiden and mom to Margaux (5th) and Julian (1st). She enjoys travelling and spending time with family near and far. Megan is so happy to be a part of the amazing Deretchin community. She is looking forward to serving on the board again this school year and the many fun and exciting events to come!
Amber henley - VP Fundraising

Amber is excited to begin her first year as a member of the Deretchin PTO board. Throughout her years at the school, she has volunteered by serving as room parent, bake walk chair for the rodeo, and assisting with 5th and 6th grade events.
Amber has been married to Rob for 18 years and are the proud parents of three boys: Parker (7th), Cole (4th in the dual language program), and Luke (1st). Amber is happy to give back to the wonderful school community of faculty and families that she has come to greatly appreciate.
Kelley bouchard - VP Membership

Kelley is happy to be serving her first year on the PTO board! She joined PTO with a mission to create a dedicated supply room for teachers, so dried-up markers or empty hand sanitizer wouldn't have to come out of teachers' own pockets mid-year — and while it's still a Supply Cart for now, that support keeps growing each year. Beyond supplies, Kelley hopes to improve communication, membership, awareness, and efficiency within the PTO to directly support our Deretchin students and teachers. Want to add a nice touch to a teacher gift? Paper Mate Flair felt tip pens & Wet Wipes are a supply cart fan faves!
Kelley and her husband, Eric, have two boys, Beck (5th ) and Blake (2nd), who all love hiking, biking, and traveling together. Fun fact: when Blake was in kinder, he wanted to meet Dexter the mascot — so Kelley quietly made it happen. For the past two years, you may have seen Dexter dancing around school events (or even a lunch flash mob!), and while we can't confirm or deny it was Kelley, core memories were made for her boys. She's since exited that committee chair upon joining the board, but send an email if you'd like to suit up, help with a PTO event/task, or spread some joy

Sarah has loved being a part of the Deretchin community for the last four years, and is excited to join the PTO Board this school year. In previous years, she has enjoyed volunteering at various school events, serving as Room Parent, co-chairing the 5th Grade Events Committee, and substitute teaching at the Best School in the Entire World.
allison van houten - Secretary
This is Allison's third year on the PTO board! She is a mom of three, Ellie (3rd), Kurt (3rd), and Daisy (kinder). Ellie and Kurt are on their fourth year at Deretchin, and we have all had a wonderful experience so far as Dragons! As a member of the PTO Allison has enjoyed volunteering in many capacities throughout the school year. The Rodeo is her favorite PTO event, and she looks forward to helping make it great again this year! She is so grateful to be a part of such a fantastic school and community with dedicated and supportive parents, administrators, and staff!
meagan anthony - Treasurer
This is Meagan’s second year on the PTO board, and she is looking forward to continuing as our treasurer. Over the past few years at Deretchin, she has served as a room parent, spirit night coordinator, and helped with Chalk the Walk and Red Ribbon Week. She is happy to keep assisting in all of those roles, as well as continuing to support our amazing teachers by substituting at our school.
Meagan has been married to John for 14 years, and they have a son, Aidan (6th grade), and a daughter, Avery (3rd grade). She is excited for another great school year alongside all of our wonderful volunteers
