What is The Deretchin Rodeo?

A fun-filled evening for Deretchin families to celebrate our school! There will be lots of activities for students to enjoy, food/snacks and a chance to win a silent auction item or one of our amazing, themed raffle baskets.

The Deretchin Rodeo is NOT a drop-off event. Adult Supervision is REQUIRED for students to attend. This event is limited to Deretchin students & their families.

HOW CAN YOU HELP?

SET-UP

We are in need of volunteers to set up on Friday, February 23rd. We have a quick turnaround of when we have access to the cafeteria and parking lot so we need as many helping hands as we can get! Sign up here to join the set up crew.

BAKE WALK DONATION

Our bake walk is back! Donate a store bought baked good the morning of the rodeo. We will be collecting at the drop off line or front office on 2/22 and 2/23. Sign up to bring an item here.

TICKET SALES AND WRISTBAND FULFILLMENT

Wristband Fulfillment

With Presidents' Day weekend falling before Rodeo we are starting our wristband/tickets sales a little early (2/7 - 2/23). Sign up here to help with a wristband/ticket fulfillment shift or two!

Ticket Sales During Lunch

We will be selling raffle tickets during lunch the week of Rodeo (2/20 - 2/23). Sign up here for a lunch shift.

JOIN A COMMITTEE

We have a great volunteer coordinator this year and shifts during the event are covered! However, we have a lot of opportunities for you to help with planning, decorations, and carnival games! Email: michele.m.nicol@gmail.com

RAFFLE BASKET DONATION

The baskets are on display at lunchtime the week of the rodeo, and students can purchase raffle tickets at lunch for $1.00 each. Winners will be drawn at the end of the rodeo on February 23. Your child does not need to be present to win! Items for the raffle baskets are all donated by you, our Dragon families.

The Amazon wish lists are organized by themes and are suggestions! If you choose to purchase an item from a wish list, the item will ship directly to the raffle committee. If you prefer to purchase something at a store, just drop it off at the front office. (Walmart has a FANTASTIC clearance aisle! They also have clearance toys back in the toy section.) Please feel free to send in monetary donations or gift cards in lieu of items. Cash donations and gift cards are greatly appreciated and help add needed items to raffle baskets. Please send in your donation by Friday, February 9.

Donating to the raffle is completely voluntary.
